The new version of mythgallery in 0.22 seems to have severe problems with flickering. - the number of pictures in the subdirectories that is displayed is refreshed every time you visit a directory. This wouldn't be so bad if it didn't cause each sub directory image to flicker as it updates the number. - scrolling causes all of the displayed images to sporadically flicker. Does anyone else experience these issues? Is there any way to get back the UI from 0.21? |

I noticed had a similar problem a while back. There was a small delay in the image being displayed. I narrowed the problem to be the painter. By changing the theme painter from Qt to openGL made munu transitions smooth. You can change this on the Appearence page. You can up the memory for image cache on the same page too. Helps? |

I tried enabling opengl transitions, but all it seemed to do was make the flicker happen quicker. I did not see a setting in the appearance section of the menus for anything that involved the mythgallery image cache |
