I having been using the EIT data for sometime and whilst it isn't perfect it hasn't been to bad. But I noticed yesterday that I have a problem whereby the Title of the show is being substituted with the Subtitle and the Description is being put in both the Subtitle and Description.

E.g. With Drop Dead Diva last night, the title of the episode was "Back from the Dead" and that was what was displayed as the title of the show instead of what was expected.

Another example is tonight's showing of CSI on "GEM" (replaces NineHD) instead of being CSI it "A Bullet Runs Through IT (Part 1)".

Has anyone else seen this, I have checked my database through the tools in Mythweb and everything appears OK, just wondering that I am not alone.

Yeah, I noticed it on my plasma's in-built tuner as well, so it's not a Myth issue.

I have had the same problem for ages. I actually vame to the forum to find a fix!

time to move back to shepherd i guess

Since the original post I made the data has gotten much better, it was only channel 9 that was doing it. I think they do it to upset people that use the EPG like we do. It was just a little bit more of a management issue that I had to tackle to ensure the programs I wanted to tape could be.

Now though it has returned to normal and for the most part the EIT data is now fine.

deleted all my channels and did a rescan. my EIT issues are solved and i now have a heap more channels. sweet!

I spent ages trying to get bris31 on an analog tuner and never got it to work. I now have them on digital. very happy
