I had to re-scan my channels today after the cable company switched the lineup again. Once I got all the channels I scanned for icons in the channel editor. As usual, all but about 10 of the icons were found. However, where I could usually search for a channel and select the icon from a group of choices, now it doesn't work. With R7 installed and the newer-looking channel icon search, the search function seems broken. No matter what I search for, whether it's "FOX" or "Fox" or "fox" or "f," nothing comes up. I've tried searching using terms for channels that were found, but those don't work either. Every search reports no match found. It seems like a MythTV bug, but on the trac site someone had marked a similar bug "invalid" because the new version of Myth (.25, I assume?) would have a different icon search function. Since R7 is still on .24, I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and found a solution. Icons aren't a huge deal, but they do add a nice touch and give me a slight bump in the WAF. |

Yes I've notice the same problem. Especially since it can find icons for channels that it already found. Something is definitely broke. Luckily I have a backup of all my icons. |
