Post subject:  Packages for Fedora or other suggestions

I am mainly a Windows guy, sorry comes with the job, however I have set up my laptop to dual boot into Fedora as the laptop have a 32GB hardwired eMMC card and also a 256GB SSD. I have Fedora installed on the internal card and am playing around with it, I have used many iterations of Linux over the years.

Now to make Linux really good I would like to install a Myth Front End on the computer however I can't seem to find any packages for it. This leads me to two questions, one of which will have many options:

1) Does anyone know where I can get packages for MythTV to go onto my Fedora?

OR

2) If there are no packages, could you recommend a different distribution of Linux that I can play with and also use occasionally as a Front End?

Cheers

I have Manjaro linux (it's an Arch derivative like LinHES is) dual booting on my laptop and I was able to install MythTV from the application installer. However certain packages got updated on my laptop and made it incompatible with my LinHES install for a little while.

It looks like there are some mythtv packages available for Fedora:

You could also consider kodi as a frontend:

It may or may not have the pvr.mythtv addon packaged with it.

If you're looking at other distros, I think that Ubuntu tends to be the one with the most pre-compiled plug and play packages.
