| Post subject: | DVB drivers |
My tuner a hauppauge 950q has many fixes listed over at Kernel labs http://www.kernellabs.com/blog/?p=1854. I can't figure out how to tell if lines has these changes in the kernel they distribute though. Can someone help with how to know if a driver, xc5000 in this case, has the latest greatest fixes, or do I need to rebuild the kernel? Thanks |

Thanks for the reply. I also thought being from 2012, they had to be in kernel 4.9. I'm just not familiar enough with windows to get confirmation what driver version I'm running. I tried modinfo, but xc5000 doesn't report any version info. Guess I'm used to windows where you can easily see driver versions and check manufacturer sites to see if there is something newer. Haven't figured out how to do that for DVB(xc5000) tuner drivers in Myth. |
