I am running R5A12. I am just wondering if I need to do anything for the commercials to be removed from the recording. Or do they just get flagged so I can skip them. thanks |

They're flagged so you can skip them. I swear there's a good quick write up on how to edit recordings and put cut points in around somewhere if you search a bit. Here's something from the wiki: http://knoppmythwiki.homelinux.org/inde ... oEditHowTo You really don't want to take the raw results of the commercial flagging since they're highly variable. Some channels/shows are apparently easier than others on this count. My experience is that commercial detection for shows on SciFi and Cartoon Network are generally pretty close to right but at the other end of the spectrum for TBS and FX it's basically useless. |

Thanks for the response, tjc I will search for edit recording and cut points for more information now. I wasn't sure how that stuff worked. Thank you for leading in the right direction. |
