I don't seem to be able to find a Play Music CD option in any of the xml files for the menus; could someone be so kind and tell me what I need to put in the xml file to enable this? Thanks. |

I now I may be new to all this, but I am able to play music CDs out of the box. Under the menu option Media Library you have the option to Listen to Music. Once in there push number 3 to bring up you play list and the second option on this list is your CD. It will take a few moments to register the CD as it downloads the track info from the CDDB on the net, but after that it should play fine. Select it with the space bar and press ESC to get back to the player and away you go. Hope this is what you were looking for. |

Don't feel stupid, it took me a while to work out that you have to press ESC to start playing the CD. |

The approach that I took was to simply add an entry for xmms into the menu. Then install xmms-lirc and configure it. This is far more user friendly then mythmusic's playd cd interface. |
