Hello all My setup: p4-2.6Ghz PVR350-with X over TV-Out(ivtv) older WinTV card(bttv) I have cable running to both. Both cards seems to work..(as far as i can tell) PVR350 = all channels viewable bttv = I can only see a few channels, even in tvtime or xawtv. I looked thru the forums and see some hints but I applied them and they still don't make a difference? Do I need to (under mythtv-setup) create another video source to the bttv card has its own channel source?(even though the source is the same). I am using R4v5. Edit: Another question is, where can I find the list for the tuner types?? for ivtv and bttv?? I have the PVR350 set to tuner=39 I have heard its also works usinf 41 or 44? TIA!!!! |

yeah.. sound advice. anyways I tried it r5vsomething12i think. I could not get it to recognize my pvr350 card. any more good suggestions? |

IS there a FAQ somewhere for it? or a READ for PVR/special setup/issues??? |

I was not able to get any of them to do TV-Out the recording part is fine, but I want to utilize the TV-Out. So I am still running R4v5 using that stable ivtv(2.03 or something) and used snapperdragons script. I have not been able to get all the "stuff" to to play nice using other combo's of parts(i.e using unstable ivtv(3), R5V15 or R5V15.1). If anyone has gotten the newer versions to work please point to the HOW-TO. Thanks. |

Would this "mis-labeling" also prevent the card from workig correctly in newer versions of Knoppmyth?? Because I think i have labeled this way the whole time. |
