Post subject:  cannot delete two recorded programs

Topic says it all. If I attempt to delete them through mythfrontend, it asks me to confirm, but doesn't remove them from the database (although they are off the FS). I also attempted to remove them through mythweb with no success either.

I ran fschk on the partition and also checked mysql for errors. None were found. If there an easy way to remove the offending entries?

Thanks all!

you'll have to find out what the .nuv filename is supposed to be then touch blah.nuv then it will delete everything properly.

This was an issue w/ 0.17. If you comfortable w/ MySQL, you can also you that (or Webmin).

I tried to get the filename through mythweb, but there is not a preview picture and as such, no hyperlink with filename (just a lightblue area where the preview png is usually displayed).... is there another way I can get it the filename?

mysqldump mythconverg recorded | grep "title of recording"

And you should be able to see the start and end time

graysky: the way I did it was try to delete it via mythweb, then look at mythbackend log (I think) and find the error listed when trying to delete, then use that .nuv filename for the touch command, then go back to mythweb and do the delete (which then works).

Here's a thread over on mythtv-user

/var/log/mythtv/mythbackend.log tells all :)

Code:
$ touch <name from log.nuv>
$ rm <name from log.nuv>

worked like a charm

Thanks for the help guys :)
