when I want it to record a show it wont change to that channel on its own. Also seems my guides times are off. How do I fix the times in mythtv to be correct with my direct tv. |

Any time you use a settopbox (satelite/digital cable) you have to use an irblaster, serial cable, or firewire to change the channel on the box. |

More details will get you more helpful replies. If you need to change the channel on an exterrnal tuner device (i.e. a cable or satellite box) you need to use something like an IR blaster, or a serial, USB, or Firewire connection. Searching the forum should turn up information on this and the rest. |
