Has anybody looked into program recommendation systems?

I tested MythBayes a while back, with limited results (not surprising, since I didn't have much in the way of descriptions, which it uses). This systems calculates probabilities on shows, based on past recording habits.

I just started thinking about a way to find out what your friends have scheduled to record, so that you might find out about some program you didn't see/didn't know about.

Any thougts?

well the new lxmsuite is supposed to have a recommendation system if you are a subscriber I believe.
