I recently set up an Athlon XP 1800+ with Slackware 10.1 and an ATi TV Wonder Pro. Everything's fine, except I CAN'T CHANGE THE CHANNELS! Whenever I hit the "up" arrow, a little blue thing appears at the bottom of the screen, then it goes away after a little bit, but the channel doesn't change. What's going on? :?

I get the same symptoms on my system if the file
Quote:
/etc/mythtv/modules/ivtv

contains the following line
Quote:
options tuner type=45

i run a PVR-350 though, so your ivtv file might be different (or at
least the number will be). if you have this line then try commenting it
out and see if it makes a difference

bondo - I don't have "ivtv" in the directory you mentioned (which, on my system, is nonexistent) or in any other directory on my system. I thought that "ivtv" was just a driver and was only required on SOME systems. . . I believe my card uses either video4linux or video4linux2, both of which are compiled into my kernel. Actually, I have gotten it to where I CAN change channels, but all but two channels are nothing but fuzz.
