When I run mythfilldatabase I get a bunch of 401 Unauthorized error and it finishes with "Authorization failed." When I go to the EPG, there is nothing there. I am sure I am using my correct username and password... I am using a PVR-150 on R5A16, which I have yet to get successful input from. Still, I figure I should at least be able to get the channel listings... |

yes you should be able to get the listings. when you went through the setup were you able to see your listings and choose one? can you ping zap2it by name from the command line? |

Not sure what you mean by go through listings and choose one... Everything works on the Zap2It website. Nothing shows up on the EPG. I think mythbackend may not be running, although it is on the same c omputer. |

I don't seem to be able to ping www.zap2it.com by name. www.google.com seems to work, so I presume it's not the Internet connection. |

in the video source section you choose zap2it and put in your username and password that you created if it can't connect to zap2it it will tell you if it can it will show you the listings that you created at labs.zap2it.com (you did do this right?) if that works then mythfilldatabase should work. |

Hm... DOesn't tell me it can't connect to Zap2It. I do have an account which works when I login on the web site. Just reports erros as above, and nothing shows up in the EPG. Strange... |

Where is it. One message I have found it is enter in the "Video Source", for the life of me I have not locate it. It took me awhile to learn the the "Right Arrow" makes the check box for "Myhtfilldatabase", space and enter key does not. Your help please |

In the setup. the docs just say do all 4 steps cause they are pretty self expalitory. one of the steps is video sources and there is a user/pass field. This is outside of the myth interface, but if you are using knoppmyth and seeing the myth interface you have gone through mythtv-setup at least once. |

I guessing now that I have to use my system logon information at the zap2it site. They must match. How secure is that? |

I found it. Just had to do the reinstall. So many messages and so many changes. I had tried to run setup agian but could not find the right name for the excutable. one message had it as setup in the /myth/setup directory. another I think was mythtvsetup On to my next problem |

Just an FYI it took nearly 3 hrs for my authentication to replicate on labs.zap2it.com I was able to login via the website immediately, but took forever for mythtv to connect to datadirect.webservices.zap2it.com So if you are getting that error and you just set up the account, walk away for a while. |
