Hi all..

Great forums, and I've tried searching ALOT on it, so forgive me if this has been posted and fixed already. I am using the newest version of KnoppMyth and have gotten alot of good info from here on how to get my 150's working with ivtv, etc.

I use NTSC and have tried MANY different settings for the height and width, such as 720x480, and no matter what I try, it continues to not show about the right 1/4 of the screen. I'm only using a monitor, so no TV out as of yet. It's like the right part of the TV is off the monitor. I've adjusted the X and Y settings etc, in Myth but same problem.

I am thinking it's probably just my config of ivtv as this also happens when I do a..
Code:
 cat /dev/video0 > test.mpg

My config is very similar to all the other posts of modified PVR 150's found here on the forums...

Thanks!

Dark

what resolution are you running X at? I could see this happening if you are capturing at 720x480 and running X at 640x480 or something.

though in theory it really should get scaled anyways.

Yeah, It's most def at least 800x600, but with the cat /dev/video, that is free from X stuff anyhow. I'm still stumped...

I had this problem as well with my 150 and the problem went away after I set it to 720X480 and rebooted :? but you said you already did that so I am not sure either??

I'm trying to set it at the command line again. I was trying it with MythTV's config before, and that was probably it. I'll let you know if the "-f width=720,height=480" works for me.

How can I make this permanent in the configs? Thanks...
