Hi,
When one does a backup using Home > Knoppmyth >Backup KnoppMyth it seems not to save ALL the information. If one does a backup, then follows with an upgrade or a re-install of the upgrade, you spend a lot of time going back into the settings to "re-tweak" those settings.
An example would be is that you have gone to Home > Utilities / Setup > Setup > Settings pages to cutomized your tv settings, and features and then do your upgrade, some of those tweaks are lost.

Question is: What & where would I have to change to save more of those settings? We are typically talking about a large partion for myth, surely there is room for a couple extra meg to hold more of those settings?

Also as a comment in general, when questions are asked, I think the Version should be supplied as well. as all the hardware info as what will work for R4V5 may not be good for R5A16 and the various steps in between.
By the way, I use R5A16, it's like Dial soap, everyone should:)
Thanks
Mike

All of MythTV's settings should be saved by doing the backup. If some aren't I'd need step by step examples to determine the problem. I do welcome improvements to any scripts in KnoppMyth.

Hi
Thanks for prompt return. Would you prefer me to post the scripts or send them to you for review first? I don't want to lead any one down the garden path as I make a lot of little tweaks.

R5A16 is so solid, have had only one crash on me in weeks:)
Thanks
Mike
