Navigating from the "Media Library" top level menu to the "List Upcoming Episodes" choice of the recording page crashes the frontend every time:

1) Media Library > Watch Recordings
2) highlight any show, then
3) Right Arrow to bring up the 7 button menu
4) select Edit Recording Schedule
5) select List Upcoming Episodes
6) Mythfrontend crashes

However, if one instead starts from Manage Recordings (and not Media Library), there is no crash, i.e.:

1) Manage Recordings
2) choose any method of scheduling
3) choose any program
4) select List Upcoming Episodes
5) it works

Running R4V5 (0.16) so it's unknown whether this was fixed in later versions.

What's the proper method for checking on whether a bug was already reported/how to report it?

1) Check the MythTV bugzilla databse:

http://www.mythtv.org/bugs/

2) Search through the MythTV mailing list archives:

This seems to be a dead link. I think the new way to report bugs is via the trac ticket system?

I'm also still running R4V5 and this problem has been bugging me for quite a while. I've never been able to find a solution, but now I did find it in the dev mailing list so just to document it for this thread, see:

http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/dev/86426

So, I take it from that thread that the problem is fixed in newer versions.
