Whenever I record a program lately it'll put the length of it at like 4 seconds. There's nothing wrong with my mysql tables and have no idea what could be the problem. Also, my audio never syncs up, it's usually twice the speed of the video and if I try to use the sync video to audio feature my video just becomes unwatchable.
I just did a fresh reinstall thinking that maybe it was just a bad install or something to that effect and the problems actually got worse.

I'm at a complete loss here, any help would be greatly appreciated.
