i did a fresh install of knoppmyth and as soon as i was done i deleted deleted partition 4 of hda and reformated it as an lvm partition.

once i was done i rebooted mythfrontend could not connect to backend.
when i connect to my myth box via samba the only directory i see is lost+found

any help

Perhaps taking a look at the backend log to see it is has started...

There was more to hda4 than /myth and if you didn't save those first
