Post subject:  How to make subfolders in MyVideo so I can categorize shows

Right now all my videos are listed in a hodge podge and I'd like to be able to put them into folders based on show.

ie: a folder for all my Simpson's eps or a folder for all my Family Guy

TIA

If you make subdirectories in the /myth/video directory and put movies in there, MythVideo will use that to organize your movies.

If the question then is "how do I make subdirectories in Linux," bring up an xterm window, and as the mythtv user...

Code:
cd /myth/video
mkdir simpsons
mv simpsons1.avi simpsons/

etc etc etc. You'll need to run Video Manager again to have it recognize what you've done so it will display that way in MythVideo.

Yeah somewhere in the video settings you can change the default folder view to list or something. This is a similar view to the myth recordings.

Thank you for the correction: you do have to change the view settings to List or something like that.
