Post subject: | Manual scheduling |
Hi, I have a R5A16 KnoppMyth system running that I have manually scheduled to do records of a camera on composite for weather pictures. That is all it does, no zap2it and that feature is even turned off. Problem seems to be is after about 13 days, It stops as it runs out of schedule. If I do a reboot, it seems to refresh the schedule. Question I have is, how does one make the schedule auto refresh each day / week? I would think there should always be entries for the days into the future? Thanks Mike |

shouldnt be too hard to simply insert program records in the correct table, is it the program table? A croned shell script with correctly formatted SQL could run once a week and insert recs for the next week. How about a single program that lasts a year long. since you are using manual scheduling, probably wouldn't matter? migh not work, but worth a try. |

Hi khrusher, Good thought however I don't think I have the skill level to be able to tickle the database into updating the schedule. It does seem to update if zap2it is active. Appreciate the idea, as it gives me another area to dig for a solution. It may be as simple as to how something is scheduled. I know if want a 7 day record, you set it to start on a Sunday, and a weekday gives you only 5 days. A lot of Easter eggs to still find ![]() Thanks again, Mike |
