I couldn't find this anywhere.. Is it possible to switch inputs on the fly? ie. I have a PVR-250 card that uses tuner0 99% of the time, but I also have a DBS sat receiver that I'd like to be able to hook up to the S-Video in of the PVR-250 to pause, record (of course while not watching the tuner0).. essentially having the ability to switch back and forth from tuner0 and S-video (like the Windows driver of the same card can) is this possible, or do I have to get another PVR-250 and hook it to that? please enlighten me... thx |

Thanks for that! Sometimes with all the configs/setups etc the obvious is missed - duh on me.... |

Now for another stupid question: Do I need to setup new inputs? ie. via mythtv-setup? I've created two new inputs Composite and S-Video, then linked them with the input selector... press "c" and the inputs don't switch, stays on tuner0 |

To answer my own question: To get the inputs to switch you need to do the following with Mythtv-setup: 1. in the input section, like I did with the tuner, link the composite and svideo to the device, no need to create another entry in the top right bubble I've been away from the Knoppmyth thing for over a year now and am now re-newbie.... |

I've now set the remote power button to switch inputs and can now pause anything on the composite/Svideo input of the pvr250. How could I record the input? Everytime I try to record, it records something off the tuner. Do I need to add a dummy channel that the tuner can't tune to? |
