I'm running a HD-3000 and a PVR-350 and everything works great, till I reboot. Then mythtv-setup runs everytime and want's me to wax my video card and keep my channel selections. No matter what I do, it still wants to run through the setup. Any idea what I am missing?

Thanks, but neither of those nor .upgrade exist. I was looking at KnoppMyth-run and saw those.

I should add that during boot, very early on, I do see knoppmyth report "no multimedia video card". This message does not get logged. Could that be triggering it?

No, it simple means KnoppMyth-tv doesn't recoginize your card (which doesn't mean your card won't work).

Any further thoughts, besides not rebooting? It's really more of an irritant than a problem. I just end up hitting no to each question, escape out, and when myth-frontend launches all is well. Weird.

Since I can not find any other solution, I changed the following.
~/.fluxbox/app
[startup] {KnoppMyth-run} to

~/.fluxbox/app
[startup] {mythfrontend}
