How do you go about updating to the latest 18.2? I tried running the svn command below but svn is not found. ****** svn co http://svn.mythtv.org/svn/branches/rele ... xes/mythtv svn co http://svn.mythtv.org/svn/branches/rele ... ythplugins svn co http://svn.mythtv.org/svn/branches/rele ... myththemes ****** Is it worth updating??? since I am having problems with the channel config? I can record 'most' but not all, channels fine. If I go into live tv, it works initially, but when I change the channel it will start to have problems viewing the station. I have to stop and restart the frontend & backend and then the channel I changed to that gave me garble, works. I have read that that could be a problem with the channel configs. Last night I went into mythtv-setup and deleted all my channel info. I resetup everything, exited, ran mythfilldatabase and went back into setup to do a full channel scan. I ran the dvb_fixer.sh, but I am still having problems. The night before I ran the dvb_fixer.sh, I tried to record a PBS station but it recorded the last channel I was on instead which is also my starting channel. So I am assuming it could not tune that channel. This morning I tried recording the same PBS station and this time I got the video but no sound. But only on that channel. I tried another channel and video and sound worked fine. I am using the default R5A16 currently. Am I missing the boat on something? esherm22 *******Specs******** Soltek 3801-300 SFF w/SL-B9A-FGR mainboard AMD64 3400 1gb RAM HD-3000 OTA Only Nvidia FX5200 DVI-> Sony kdw50655 HDTV <-HDMI C-Media CMI8768 KnoppMyth R5A16 |

R5A16 doesn't inculde SVN, so you'll need to install it. There are several posts on updating and you can also read the MythTV docs. |

Just guessing I tried "apt-get install svn" this morning but that didn't work. Now I found #"apt-get install subversion" . I learn more everyday! Thanks again cesman! |
