I am about to purchase a Avermedia DVB-T771 and have a question before I do.
As I want to convert my VHS home films to digital format I will use the s-video input but how do I get the sound included? I can get the s-video signal and via RCA the audio signal from my VHS. Now, where do I connect the audio signal?

The line-in connector on your sound card (normally blue). You will need to do some other fiddling to get it to work but i'm sure its possible.

I also have another option now that might be better: Avermedia DVB-T Hybrid, that has an audio input.
