I am not sure how it is suppose to be configured and it is difficult to take screenshots of the setup. But I think I have the commercial skipping turned on yet my shows all have commercials in it. What is the proper way to configure this feature? Thanx Julian |

the shows will always have commercials in them unless you transcode them, but if you setup your recording options to commercial flag then setup automatically skip commercials It should skip them even though they are there, though be careful cause the commercial detect is not always accurate. |

That reminds me of a question I have. If I sent up MythTV to automatically transcode shows and remove the commercials (probably in the middle of the night just to make sure the machine is "free" to record programs while I watch something already recorded) are the transcoded shows still stored in the TV show area or do they get moved to MythVideo? |
