Curious, my mythfilldatabase ran today, 12/12/05, and shows guide info through 12/26 but on Thursday 12/15 between 8PM and 11PM it does not show any data. I've never seen this happen before. If I rerun it, it says data is already present for that day. I checked on zap2it and their web listings show correctly. Has anyone else noticed this or have this happen to them?

Yep, I've seen that

I haven't checked if it's still doing it or not. I also haven't done the fix mentioned in that thread (clearing out the listings via mythtv-setup).

What maybe easier is just using the refresh all option to mythfilldatabase... Something I've had to resort to when one of my experiments on custom tweaking the program guide went off the rails...

There doesn't seem to be a "--refresh-all" option for mythfilldatabase, at least not the one that came with my R5A16 install. There's "--refresh-today" and "--refresh-second" but neither seemed to apply.

Searched mythtv-users and came up with this solution that doesn't involve rerunning mythtv-setup.

http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/m ... ll;#122780

Switch to root with su and run mysql. Type "use mythconverg;" to select that database, then type "DELETE FROM program;" to delete all the program info. "quit" from mysql, exit root and go back to the mythtv user, then run mythfilldatabase.

This seems to have fixed my missing clump of program listings.
