HI all,
at the start of the year, i started my first linux project which consisted of a knoppmyth mythtv backend and an XBMC frontend (using mythtv scripts). Unfortunatly i didnt get far last time, and i ended up giving up. Since im on holidays now, i thought id have a second go.
I have installed knoppmyth and followed the setup, and i have installed the XBMC scripts. The problem im having is that when i run the connection test using the myth-xbmc scripts i recieve an error saying: "Failed to connect to MYSQL database. conn"
I have searched everywhere for solutions to this problem and i have found none. I have editing the mysql.txt & "my" scripts and commented out "skip networking" and so on. It seems like im so close to getting this thing going...but i havent been able to fix this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
