| Post subject: | Navigation sounds possible in MythTV? |
In the my-girlfriend-is-never-happy department: I finally have my Firefly remote working after about two weeks of attempts & troubleshooting! Yay! This has led to the girlfriend's new complaint: its silence. I'm coming from a replayTV background, and then a Windows XP PVR solution under various software. All of these programs either automatically play sound when navigating the menus, or allow you to set up a customized sound scheme to do it. Is this possible under MythTV? I'm talking, essentially, about the bleeps, bloops, and clicks that play when you move around a Tivo-like interface, or select a menu entry, etc etc. Just short little sounds that can give audio feedback to the user. I've done a search of the forums for "menu sounds," "navigation sounds," and the like, but found nothing along these lines. |
