Is there a way to password protect MythTV's scheduling features so that only those who know the password can schedule recordings? |

Well, yes there is. It would be an .htaccess 'thingy' with Apache, but I've not done it in many years. Look into the documentation of the Apache config files. Might be somewhere in the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file if my memory serves me right. If you get it done, you might write a page on the wiki for all those who would like to do it too. |

Thanks, but I meant the regular MythTV UI scheduling features - not MythWeb. Sorry for the lack of clarity. |

I don't think there is any such feature. If you wish to make a request that would be a mythtv feature, and should be discussed over on the myhttv mailing lists. I know there are some password features, but I believe that is only for viewing. |
