Looking for a good universal learning remote that will control MythTV along with all of your other home theater components? I picked up the One For All URC 8910 today, and it works great. It controlled my TV and DVD player out of the box, and getting it to control my receiver and MythTV was as simple as calling the One For All customer service line (on hold for about 10 minutes) and having them update it over the phone. You just tell them that you have a Hauppauge PVR250 and they have you hold the remote up to the phone while they play a series of sounds that updates the remote with the codes for the silver remote. I was quite amazed because I thought I'd have to get a JP1 cable and program it myself.
Now it does everything my old remotes did, though I did need to use the learning capabilities for a few of the more obscure commands and to tweak the MythTV commands to my liking. It has just about every button from the silver remote, so you don't have to change your commands or layout too much. I'm not sure how many learned commands it can store, but between all of my components I have about 20 or so in there so far with no problems. Most of the buttons just work the way they are supposed to so you shouldn't need too many learned commands anyways. It also has macro capabilities, but I don't really have any use for those so I can't speak to how good they work.
The best part is that Amazon sells this remote for $21, which is an absolute steal considering what you pay for most of the nicer learning remotes. A friend of mine has one of the Harmony remotes that he paid well over $100 for, and I think this one is just as nice for a fraction of the price.

If I sound like a One For All shill, it's only because I am that impressed with this remote at that price point.
