Hi guys. I've started havning problems with mythfilldatabase. I'm only trying to grab data for 5 UK terrestial channels using tv_grab_uk_rt. When I run mythfilldatabase I get the following mesages: Code: root@htpc:/usr/bin# mythfilldatabase

Ah I think I've fixed it. This line: Code: config file /root/.mythtv/TV.xmltv does not exist, run me with --configure made me realise it was looking for the config file in the wrong place due to me being logged in as the root user. Doing "su mythtv" and then running mythfilldatabase again fixed the problem, resulting in: Code: Updated programs: 2300 Unchanged programs: 0

Yeah, I generally recommend that folks do not run mythfilldatabase as root. It can cause some screwy issues. |
