I'll be doing a fresh install as soon as my tuner card arrives. I watched a video of an install ( http://revision3.com/systm/mythtv/ ) and this lead me to couple of questions. 1) I have DirecTV, what would my channel frequency table be? Anyone know? 2) I have an AMD Athlon 1.2, is this an i586 or i686 module? Thanks for helping the clueless. |

Ok, some more research has lead me in the direction of i686. Right? Still haven't found an answer for the channel frequency table.... |

Follow the KnoppMyth autoinstall instructions and most of your questions about basically installation will be covered. If you're wanting to record shows over your directTv sattelite then you will need to search this forum for directv and see how other people set their system up. I have a strong suspicion that the knoppmythwiki has a writeup on this somewhere. |
