I'm trying to get some of the buttons working on my Hauppauge silver remote. I have seen some threads that refer to mapping buttons to keyboard keys in the lircrc file. Specificly the TV button would be mapped to F4, but for that to work the F4 key would have to do something. In my case it does not. I can't find any reference to assigning custom functions to keyboard keys. My goal is to have each of these keys jump directly to some place that makes sense. Am I going about this the right way or is there another way to do this? |

I got mine working by using the keybinding settings in MythWeb |
