| Post subject: | mythburn errors after CVS update |
First and foremost, please forgive my ignorance of the many details that surround mythburn. I have read numerous posts and have grown a little overwhelmed and rather desperate in my effort to sift through the many different threads on this subject. I am running R5A26 and have never been able to get mythburn to successfully burn a DVD. In my attempts to research and fix the errors I am afraid I have botched my mythburn scripts/directories quite a bit. Below is a small subset of the most recent mythburn.log [code]!> no write access in specified output directory: ^M"/myth/tv" ^M--- process cancelled ---- Error Running project X, no log file created. giving up. [/code] I originally followed the http://knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page ... ipts_HowTo instructions. Now I have two directories of mythburn. /myth/mythburn and /myth/mythburn/mythburn I have also tried running cvs update from the /myth/mythburn directory and then running the install.sh. Can someone point me in the right direction for cleaning this up and correctly installing the most recent CVS of mythburn? I probably had a decently up to date version running with the R5A25 install but a lot of the posts that I read suggested updating CVS as a remedy to most of the errors I was encountering. Now I am up poo creek. Thanks and sorry for the length! |
