Ok, I upgraded from R4V5 today, and now I cannot access my old recorded programs. I believe the problem may be with the fact that I was using LVM in my previous version. I followed through the steps on knoppmythwiki for upgrading with LVM but still nothing. I did notice that within mythweb, backend staus it is reporting a total size of 3 GB, so I am thinking this is pointing to the problem, I am just not sure where to go. Thanks for the help!!! Joe |

Why didn't you go to the latest? Oh and what do these commands show? Code: vgscan -v
pvdisplay |

FYI I also have been wanting to upgrade from R4V5 for the past couple of weeks. However, I could never get the datbase right to see my old shows. So I was patient and sure enough this weekend R5B7 rolled out. So I ran Ghost onto anther drive just to see how the upgrade would go. Previously it would work not migrate correctly on R530.2. This time it worked like a charm ![]() |

I was looking for something I could do right away. Anyway, I have downloaded R5B7, so I am going to give it a try! |

That really ought to be there. Double check the CD. Boot with it and use the "testcd" option. |
