When I press the Watch Live TV button I get a black screen for about 30 seconds, then it kicks me back out to the main menu. I have a DISH network receiver hooked up to the SVIDEO input of my PVR-150 card. I can cat /dev/video0 to a mpeg file, copy it to my windows machine and play it back just fine (picture and sound are great). What is going on? I looked in the settings, and all four of them are there. Did I miss something? Anyone have any ideas? I can post more info if needed. Thanks in advance! - Sean |

Most likely something is wrong with your configuration in mythtv-setup. BTW - Not an installation question. Cecil draws the line at "when the installer is finished". This may get nuked as a result. Stuff like this belongs under general or usage... |

Nevermind, I figured it out after reading another post. I had the wrong capture setting in mythtv-setup. It needed to be set to Hardware mpeg2, and I had it set to something else. |

Could you please shed some light? |
