First I'd like to thank everyone here, this place has been a valuable resource over the last few days as I've built my knoppmyth based pvr. One thing I wanted to do was to have my MSN Messenger personal message tell people what i am watching on my mythtv system. Much like it will do with windows media player or iTunes. Well I set about writing MythPM (short for MythPersonalMessage). It sits in your system tray and after telling it where your backend server is it'll update msn with what you are watching live. Its still very much in development but version 0.2 is now available from my website: http://www.drewperry.co.uk/index.php?cat=1&page=2 I'd love to hear some feedback. Cheers Drew |
