Thankyou for the reply but Ive already spent way too much time with all of the recommended tweaks. Motherboards are cheap so if someone can recommend a motherboard with SPDIF working out of the box or a soundcard it would be great.

I see the Dragon 2.0 specs use the Chaintech AV-710 soundcard that has a SPDIF connection.

If I disabled the Asus onboard sound in the BIOS and plugged in the Chaintech it would be great.
