I am trying to get my ira-3 ir receiver to work with my tivo remote.
Here are the steps I have done so far:

Downloaded libirman-0.4.4
Configured make, and make install libirman-0.4.4
Downloaded and extracted the latest version of lirc from the CVS, because the FAQ said the latest lirc version 0.8.2 was incompatible with irman
Ran setup and selected irman and COM port 1
configured, make, make install

I then run irw, and I get the red light on the ira-3 receiver, and no response when I hit any buttons on the remote.

What should I be doing next to resolve this problem?
