Between overpaying my taxes last year and the "Economic Stimulation" I'm thinking of ditching my seriously over-scanning, floor joist bending Sony KV36HS510 in favor of something lighter and 1080p capable.

A 1080p (or better) interface to KM is a must, I have an nVidia video card with DVI output, that should be OK but am not unwilling to replace it. The TV sits between two cabinets, so 44" is the max width of the replacement. I'm not sure what that translates to in a 16:9 diagonal measurement; I guess it would depend on the speaker placement...

I also have a near 0 tolerance for overscan, esp on the KM interface. I want 3 (or more) hdmi/dvi interfaces. (KM, DVD, Cable, ...)

Any good recos on sets? I hear LG is doing good.
