hey all,

it appears my system hangs when it begins its bootup procedure. if i have a monitor connected to the video card, all is well.. however the tv alone seems to cause me some grief. it appears to hang just after the framebuffer starts. any idea's why that might be?

tv out card is an nvidia geforce mx5200

thanks in advance,

matt

Have you changed the vga= line in lilo.conf? Try vga=normal.

changing the setting in the lilo.conf and doing a lilo -v seems to allow it to boot correctly. odd that the framebuffer would do that in the first place, but such is life.
