I am using the 7nif2 mb.

Myth seems to be set up correctly, in that I can view live tv, save I have no sound coming out. Of course, I also have no speakers, so I am not entirely surprised. I have the video playing on a tv connected to the 7nif2's tv out (s-video) connection. From what I've read, the s-video signal carries video only, no sound information.

Is it possible, using the outputs on the back of the 7nif2, to run the audio to the tv somehow? I would just like to use the tv's built in speakers if that is possible. I don't want to blow anything out thoiugh, so I want to run it by you guys and get your input on whether this is doable / safe.

Thanks in advance!

That's what I'm doing for now. Line out from the back of my PC goes into a stereo headphone to R & L RCA phono plug adapter, and I've got a cable with three "strands" for S-video and R & L sound. The S-video goes to the TV Out on the PC and the two RCA phono plugs go into the adaptor. The other end of the triple cable goes to the "usual" connections on the back of the TV.

Even cranked all the way up the line-out jack on the PC doesn't seem to produce as much audio signal as my VCR.
