I have the NOVA-T-500 from Hauppauge. Two tuners for DVB-T. But I can not get in contact with the card running mythtv-setup.

Any of You experts having experience or suggestions for this card.

hmmm. Just realized that it might ba a matter of incompatibility between my VIA EPIA MS motherboard and the HPG DVB-T tuner card. :(

The card is not detected running the mythtv-setup.

I'm about to purchase a Nova-T-500 card. So, does your card now work ? Both tuners ?

Thanks.

Hey Andre
How did you get on with the Nova-T-500? Any luck?

I've been following the threads on the mailing lists over at linuxtv.org. It looks like the latest cvs (mercurial) will work with this card but you'll have to compile it yourself as an out-of-tree driver.

Apparently the IR remote is _not_ working with this driver.

I have not had any succes with the DVB-T card yet. I have decided to wait for next release of Knopmyth, and then give it a try again.

Hopefully that is comming soon, or else I will try to compile myself. However I think this will take me a while, having not tried it before.

Br jkm.
