Ok...so my box is working great so far, but I need to get the remote working to make it living room acceptable. I made an error about a month ago by buying an AST/Logitech remote - http://www.remoteselector.com/remotes.htm#logitech
under the impression that it would be easy to install (I think I got that impression over on the myth mailing list, but perhaps took it out of context...can't remember). anyway, I really have no idea where to begin. I've been reading about lirc and how one must compile the kernel and am kinda lost. I think the 'logitech' driver in remotes.tar.bz2 in /usr/src is the correct driver, but I'm not sure how to make it happen. Should I just but an ATI remote?
