My combined fe/be epia is starting to choke so I wanted to use an extra pc I have as the master backend with maybe an extra tuner and more disk space. My problem is that if I move over my tuner card to the backend how am I supposed to have a remote? Other than buying a seperate piece of hardware is there a way that I can use lirc over the network? Has this been successfully done under knoppmyth? I know it's "possible" but I was wondering how possible in knoppmyth. I rather like my remote I have and want to keep using it. The backend will be close enough to the frontend that I want to use the remote for that I don't care if it's connected to that box. Thanks in advance.
