Hi,
I'm using an ATI rage 128-card. The problem is the TV-out. Does anyone has experience with this card? It is possible to fix the problem by installing the proprietary ATI-Linux-x86-driver ( 8.28.8 ) or should I try the GATOS-project?

If I have to buy another card, which is an inexpensive alternative (with TV-out)?

It doesn't cover the "rage" card per say, but perhaps it will get you started down the right path.
