Hello,

I installed KnoppMyth and it runs with a Geforce2 MX over a TV-Out on my TV-Set. My desktop uses a resolution of 800x600 pixel.

I uses nvtv for no black borders. After fluxbox started a nvtv-script is running an sets the overscan. The nvtv resolution is 768x576, size is Large on Composite-Output and PAL-System.

It works great but I cannot see the whole desktop. In some dialog in MythTV I cannot see all Buttons and dialog-texts.

The reason is the smaller nvtv resolution to the desktop resolution, isn't it?

What can I do to solve this problem? Is there a border-Settings for the desktop or only for mythTV to scale it down?

Thank you for your help.

this can be fixed in the frontend settings. It's either under appearance or general, I can't remember off hand. You can set a custom resolution for the gui and also for the video.

I have, at times, changed my overscan settings, then set the gui to a smaller resolution (something like 786x586, instead of 800x600). That way, the TV playback stretched slightly beyond the borders of the screen, but I could still see the entire MythTV gui.
