befor i get started a waning: im tired cranky i diodnt sleep because im pissed off at this and dont like to be head deep in code without precise instructions


i got sound coming from places i didnt know used sound except i cannot get the sound to play or record in tv mode

i have no idea if its a hard or soft problem

im using:
kworld studio/global tv terminator
dell 8300 with a 2.60 gigahertz processer yet only 256 mb ram (came like that)
2 different sound cards:
built in intell peice-o-crap that has like 6 or 7 plug-ins so i donno what goes where
c-media pci sound card that plays everything but the tv

i ran alsaconf and alsamixer and the gui mixer like 50 times each changing every setting there is

i can give more info when im not so cranky

I don't know anything about this card, but the spec page http://www.kworldcomputer.com/product/a ... tv7131.htm indicates you need to connect the audio output from the card to the input jack on your soundcard. Do you have such a connection?

yes i have ill try different ports though
