MythTV is installed fine... I have and ATI 9800 pro for video out. VGA output works fine but s-video and composite are scrambled (just lines and color) after X loads. I think it might be a setting in Xorg.conf so I put in the refresh rates.

Code:
Section "Monitor"
        Identifier      "Monitor0"
        Option  "DPMS"  "true"
        HorizSync 15
        VertRefresh 50-60
EndSection

On reboot it goes nuts saying "INIT: ID "c7" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes"

So I don't know if
1. Some setting in xorg is messed up
2. Drivers are messed up
3. ATI card is a POS and won't do it.

Also what if I buy a vga to s-video or composite would that work??

Those look screwy. Normal values (for NTSC) are:
Code:
        HorizSync 30 - 50
        VertRefresh 60 - 60

15 is much too low and I'd guess that the server maybe overriding it or the like. Check the X logs as described on the CheckingLogFiles page on the wiki.

I replaced the video card with a low cost GEForce and solved all my problems.
