Yeah, I recall setting up the i2c stuff and then trying to compile the kernel. It was still missing stuff. It'd be nice to get a tarball of the entire R5F27 kernel source or some way to get all the missing source.

I'd like to compile it to see if optimizing it for my CPU will speed things up at all.

I agree it would be nice to have the complete kernel source (if it is not the same as the one posted by cecil already)

On a related note, is it possible to use a newer source from debian to recompile a custom kernel? That is probably even more difficult. I have a sata card that has a bug that is addressed in newer kernels but not this one.
